And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And Noah began [to be] an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
And [Abraham] planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, [and] as cedar trees beside the waters.

Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection:
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
Let us love one another, for love comes from God and every one who loves is a child of God and knows God. He who loves not man does not know God, for God is love. God showed his love for us, for he sent his only Son into the world that through him we might have life. Love ye therefore the stranger.
