Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they [are] written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.

Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of [other] lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?
And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined [neither] to the right hand, nor to the left.
[Is] not [this] thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
[Is it] any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or [is it] gain [to him], that thou makest thy ways perfect?
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
[Though] it be given him [to be] in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes [are] upon their ways.
Lo, these [are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Upon [my] right [hand] rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to [his] ways.
For his eyes [are] upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
He [is] the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach [unto him].
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments [are] far above out of his sight: [as for] all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
To the chief Musician, [even] to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
[Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, [and] Israel had walked in my ways!
Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in thee; in whose heart [are] the ways [of them].
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Forty years long was I grieved with [this] generation, and said, It [is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways [are] before thee.
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great [is] the glory of the LORD.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.
The LORD [is] righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Whose ways [are] crooked, and [they] froward in their paths:
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace.
Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, [that] thou canst not know [them].
For the ways of man [are] before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed [are they that] keep my ways.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but [he that is] perverse in his ways despiseth him.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man [shall be satisfied] from himself.
All the ways of a man [are] clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.
A wicked [man] taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; [but] he that despiseth his ways shall die.
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Better [is] the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than [he that is] perverse [in his] ways, though he [be] rich.
Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but [he that is] perverse [in his] ways shall fall at once.
Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these [things] God will bring thee into judgment.
I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that [are] in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures [shall be] in all high places.

O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, [and] hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, [those that] remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
He that killeth an ox [is as if] he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, [as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as if he offered] swine's blood; he that burneth incense, [as if] he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: [thou art] a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave [them] of children, I will destroy my people, [since] they return not from their ways.
For mine eyes [are] upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
I the LORD search the heart, [I] try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.
Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways [from] the ancient paths, to walk in paths, [in] a way not cast up;
Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery [ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes [are] open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she [is] in bitterness.

He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, saith the Lord. These are the words of Christ; and they direct us to imitate his life and character. The Infancy of Jesus Christ (Infancy Gospel of Thomas) relates the life of Jesus from the ages of five to twelve. It is believed that the document was transcribed from oral traditions some time prior to the second century. The ancient writing is possibly Gnostic and many early church leaders considered it heretical.
