Psalms 120:1

In my distress, I cried to the LORD. He answered me.

Psalms 120:2

Deliver my soul, the LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

Psalms 120:3

What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?

Psalms 120:4

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

Psalms 120:5

Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

Psalms 120:6

My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.

Psalms 120:7

I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war. A Song of Ascents.

Let us love one another, for love comes from God and every one who loves is a child of God and knows God. He who loves not man does not know God, for God is love. God showed his love for us, for he sent his only Son into the world that through him we might have life. Love the stranger.


In Mark 12:30 Jesus said; And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
