But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.
And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

[Even] by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:
[As for] Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
Because it shut not up the doors of my [mother's] womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
Why died I not from the womb? [why] did I [not] give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
(For from my youth he was brought up with me, as [with] a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;)
