I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them," says the LORD your God.

Pray for us also to the Lord our God, for we have sinned against the Lord our God; and until this day the fury of the Lord and his wrath has not turned from us.
"And you shall say, 'To the Lord our God belongs righteousness, but to us, confusion of face, as has happened this day, unto those of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.'
and disobeyed him, and have not heeded the voice of the Lord our God to walk in the commandments which he gave us openly.

Thus we were cast down and not exalted because we sinned against the Lord our God and have not been obedient to his voice.

O Israel, happy are we, for the things which are pleasing to God are made known to us.

For you provoked him who made you, by sacrificing to devils and not to God.

And the king said to Daniel, "Will you also say that this is of brass? Lo, he lives, he eats and drinks; you cannot say that he is no living god; therefore, worship him."
Then Daniel said to the king, "I will worship the Lord my God; for he is the living God.
