The sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth.
As for Elkanah, the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,
Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
Elkanah, and Isshiah, and Azarel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites,
Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite:
When the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why don't you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"
They rose up in the morning early, and worshiped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
The man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
Elkanah her husband said to her, "Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word." So the woman waited and nursed her son, until she weaned him.
Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. The child did minister to the LORD before Eli the priest.
Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, "the LORD give you seed of this woman for the petition which was asked of the LORD." They went to their own home.
Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the ruler of the house, and Elkanah who was next to the king.
The sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
The border went down to the brook of Kanah, southward of the brook. These cities belonged to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh. The border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook, and ended at the sea.
and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon.

The Gospel of The Birth of Mary was attributed to St. Matthew and was received as genuine and authentic by early Christians. It is to be found in the works of Jerome, a Father of the Church in the 4th century and is translated from his collection.
