Additions to Esther 9:19

Then the king asked her, "What would you like, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you even to half of the kingdom."

Additions to Esther 9:20

Esther said, "If it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him."

Additions to Esther 9:21

Then the king said, "Bring Haman quickly, so that it may be done as Esther has said." So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

Additions to Esther 9:22

The king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, "What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to half of the kingdom it shall be performed."

If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I will prepare for them, and I will do tomorrow as the king has said."

Therefore the king slew them, and delivered Bel into Daniel's power, who destroyed him and his temple.

And the king said to Daniel, "Will you also say that this is of brass? Lo, he lives, he eats and drinks; you cannot say that he is no living god; therefore, worship him."

Then Daniel said to the king, "I will worship the Lord my God; for he is the living God.

But give me permission, O king, and I shall slay this dragon without sword or staff." The king said, "I give you permission."

When they of Babylon heard this, they took great indignation and conspired against the king, saying, "The king has become a Jew and he has destroyed Bel; he has slain the dragon and put the priests to death."

So they came to the king and said, "Deliver Daniel to us or else we will destroy you and your house."

Now when the king saw that they pressed him severely, being constrained, he delivered Daniel to them;
