Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul."
Now to the one half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given inheritance in Bashan; but to the other half gave Joshua among their brothers beyond the Jordan westward. Moreover when Joshua sent them away to their tents, he blessed them,
The children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, which they owned, according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
"Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that you not turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left;
"'I sent Moses and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did in its midst: and afterward I brought you out.
But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!"
The children of the Kenite, Moses' brother-in-law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which is in the south of Arad; and they went and lived with the people.
They gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had spoken: and he drove out there the three sons of Anak.
They were [left], to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would listen to the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by Moses.
Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the brother-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
The children of Dan set up for themselves the engraved image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land.
the LORD called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

which the LORD commanded Moses in Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
Moses said to the congregation, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to be done."
Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.
Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He killed it; and Moses took the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.
He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it on the altar.
But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He killed it; and Moses took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
He brought Aaron's sons; and Moses put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to the LORD.
Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moses' portion of the ram of consecration, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Moses took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons shall eat it.'
Aaron and his sons did all the things which the LORD commanded by Moses.
It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD commanded that you should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear to you."
Moses said to Aaron, "Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded."
but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded.
Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.
Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD spoke of, saying, 'I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.'" Aaron held his peace.
Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, "Draw near, carry your brothers from before the sanctuary out of the camp."
So they drew near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.
Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, "Don't let the hair of your heads go loose, neither tear your clothes; that you don't die, and that he not be angry with all the congregation: but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD has kindled.
You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is on you." They did according to the word of Moses.
and that you are to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them by Moses."
Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons who were left, "Take the meal offering that remains of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without yeast beside the altar; for it is most holy;
Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burned: and he was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,
Aaron spoke to Moses, "Behold, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things as these have happened to me: and if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in the sight of the LORD?"
When Moses heard that, it was pleasing in his sight.

and the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron your brother, not to come at all times into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die: for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.
"This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins." It was done as the LORD commanded Moses.

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
the LORD said to Moses in Mount Sinai,
These are the statutes, ordinances and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
These are the commandments which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.
When the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord
He commanded him to tell no one, "But go your way, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."
Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,
It happened, as they were parting from him, that Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here. Let's make three tents: one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah," not knowing what he said.
"But Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.'
"He said to him, 'If they don't listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.'"
They asked him, "Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord 'The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.'
Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
He said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."
"Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
and said to him, "See you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."
For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'
Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.
Peter answered Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let's make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
He answered, "What did Moses command you?"
They said, "Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her."
"Teacher, Moses wrote to us, 'If a man's brother dies, and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.'
But about the dead, that they are raised; haven't you read in the book of Moses, about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?
Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
Peter answered, and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let's make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
They asked him, "Why then did Moses command us to give her a bill of divorce, and divorce her?"
He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.'
saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses' seat.
For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
We have dealt very corruptly against you, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances, which you commanded your servant Moses.
"Remember, I beg you, the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, 'If you trespass, I will scatter you abroad among the peoples;
All the people gathered themselves together as one man into the broad place that was before the water gate; and they spoke to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
They found written in the law, how that the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month;
and made known to them your holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant,
they joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;
On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that an Ammonite and a Moabite should not enter into the assembly of God forever,
the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: they were each one for his fathers' house.
For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.

But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.

Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
All who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
the LORD said to Moses, "Number all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD.
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
The children of Israel did so, and put them out outside of the camp; as the LORD spoke to Moses, so did the children of Israel.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
It happened on the day that Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, and had anointed it and sanctified it, with all its furniture, and the altar with all its vessels, and had anointed and sanctified them;
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them to the Levites.
the LORD said to Moses, "They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedication of the altar."
When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard his voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim: and he spoke to him.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lampstand, as the LORD commanded Moses.
This was the workmanship of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work: according to the pattern which the LORD had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover.
They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.
There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
Moses answered them, "Wait, that I may hear what the LORD will command concerning you."
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
At the commandment of the LORD they encamped, and at the commandment of the LORD they traveled. They kept the LORD's command, at the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
They first went forward according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, "We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, 'I will give it to you.' Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel."
It happened, when the ark went forward, that Moses said, "Rise up, the LORD, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!"
The people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to the LORD, and the fire abated.
Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; and Moses was displeased.
Moses said to the LORD, "Why have you treated with your servant so badly? Why haven't I found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?
the LORD said to Moses, "Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.
Moses said, "The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, 'I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.'
the LORD said to Moses, "Has the LORD's hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not."
Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD; and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them around the Tent.
A young man ran, and told Moses, and said, "Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!"
Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered, "My lord Moses, forbid them!"
Moses said to him, "Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the LORD's people were prophets, that the LORD would put his Spirit on them!"
Moses went into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.
They said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn't he spoken also with us?" And the LORD heard it.
Now the man Moses was very humble, above all the men who were on the surface of the earth.
the LORD spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, "You three come out to the Tent of Meeting!" The three of them came out.
My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.
With him I will speak mouth to mouth, even plainly, and not in riddles; and he shall see the LORD's form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?"
Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord, please don't count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.
Moses cried to the LORD, saying, "Heal her, God, I beg you!"
the LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn't she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again."
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the commandment of the LORD: all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.
These are the names of the men who Moses sent to spy out the land. Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua.
Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, "Go up this way by the South, and go up into the hill country:
They went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them, and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it."
All the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would that we had died in this wilderness!
Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
the LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have worked among them?
Moses said to the LORD, "Then the Egyptians will hear it; for you brought up this people in your might from among them;
the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
The men, whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report against the land,
Moses told these words to all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.
Moses said, "Why now do you disobey the commandment of the LORD, since it shall not prosper?
But they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, didn't depart out of the camp.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
"'When you shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which the LORD has spoken to Moses,
even all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;
Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.
the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp."
All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as the LORD commanded Moses.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
and they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown;
and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, "You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and the LORD is among them: why then lift yourselves up above the assembly of the LORD?"
When Moses heard it, he fell on his face:
Moses said to Korah, "Hear now, you sons of Levi!
Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, "We won't come up:
Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, "Don't respect their offering: I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them."
Moses said to Korah, "You and all your company go before the LORD, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow:
They each took his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.
the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
Moses said, "Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for [I have] not [done them] of my own mind.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger, who isn't of the seed of Aaron, comes near to burn incense before the LORD; that he not be as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD spoke to him by Moses.
But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, "You have killed the LORD's people!"
It happened, when the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the Tent of Meeting: and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.
the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer, and put fire from off the altar in it, and lay incense on it, and carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the LORD! The plague has begun."

The Gospel of The Birth of Mary was attributed to St. Matthew and was received as genuine and authentic by early Christians. It is to be found in the works of Jerome, a Father of the Church in the 4th century and is translated from his collection.
The Book of Enoch is ascribed to the great-grandfather of Noah and is included in the cannon of some churches. It describes the fall of the angels (watchers), visions of heaven and hell and the birth of Noah. Quotes from the book of Enoch are found in the New Testament.

The Infancy of Jesus Christ (Infancy Gospel of Thomas) relates the life of Jesus from the ages of five to twelve. It is believed that the document was transcribed from oral traditions some time prior to the second century. The ancient writing is possibly Gnostic and many early church leaders considered it heretical.
