David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers, with instruments of music, stringed instruments and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.
Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they didn't give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?
He stood, and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying,
the LORD listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

but if you will not listen to the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then will the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
Samuel said to Saul, "the LORD sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of the words of the LORD.
Why then didn't you obey the voice of the LORD, but took the spoils, and did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD?"

They swore to the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
The Levites, of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites, stood up to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, with an exceeding loud voice.
