Zechariah 7:3

and to speak to the priests of the house of the LORD of Armies, and to the prophets, saying, "Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?"

Zechariah 7:4

Then the word of the LORD of Armies came to me, saying,

"Thus has the LORD of Armies spoken, saying, 'Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.

Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law, and the words which the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Armies.

Zechariah 7:13

It has come to pass that, as he called, and they refused to listen, so they will call, and I will not listen," said the LORD of Armies;

Zechariah 8:1

The word of the LORD of Armies came to me.

Zechariah 8:2

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath."



Zechariah 8:3

Thus says the LORD: "I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called 'The City of Truth;' and the mountain of the LORD of Armies, 'The Holy Mountain.'"

Zechariah 8:4

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Zechariah 8:6

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?" says the LORD of Armies.

Zechariah 8:7

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

Zechariah 8:9

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.

Zechariah 8:11

But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days," says the LORD of Armies.

Zechariah 8:14

For thus says the LORD of Armies: "As I thought to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath," says the LORD of Armies, "and I didn't repent;



Zechariah 8:18

The word of the LORD of Armies came to me.

Zechariah 8:19

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "The fasts of the fourth fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace."

Zechariah 8:20

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "Many peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come;

Zechariah 8:21

and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, 'Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of Armies. I will go also.'

Zechariah 8:22

Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Armies in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of the LORD."

Zechariah 8:23

Thus says the LORD of Armies: "In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, 'We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'"

Zechariah 9:8

I will encamp around my house against the army, that none pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes.



Zechariah 9:15

the LORD of Armies will defend them; and they will destroy and overcome with sling stones; and they will drink, and roar as through wine; and they will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

Zechariah 10:3

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats; For the LORD of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

Zechariah 11:17

Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!"

Zechariah 12:5

The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of Armies their God.'

Zechariah 13:2

It will come to pass in that day, says the LORD of Armies, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they will be remembered no more. I will also cause the prophets and the spirit of impurity to pass out of the land.

Zechariah 13:6

One will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'

Zechariah 13:7

"Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me," says the LORD of Armies. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.



Zechariah 14:16

It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of Armies, and to keep the feast of tents.

Zechariah 14:17

It will be, that whoever of all the families of the earth doesn't go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Armies, on them there will be no rain.

Zechariah 14:21

Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Armies; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them, and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Armies.

Zephaniah 1:5

those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by the LORD and also swear by Malcam,

Zephaniah 1:16

a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fortified cities, and against the high battlements.

Zephaniah 2:9

Therefore as I live, says the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, surely Moab will be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.

Zephaniah 2:10

This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of Armies.

Let us love one another, for love comes from God and every one who loves is a child of God and knows God. He who loves not man does not know God, for God is love. God showed his love for us, for he sent his only Son into the world that through him we might have life. Love the stranger.

The Gospel of The Birth of Mary was attributed to St. Matthew and was received as genuine and authentic by early Christians. It is to be found in the works of Jerome, a Father of the Church in the 4th century and is translated from his collection.


The Book of Enoch is ascribed to the great-grandfather of Noah and is included in the cannon of some churches. It describes the fall of the angels (watchers), visions of heaven and hell and the birth of Noah. Quotes from the book of Enoch are found in the New Testament.


The First Book of Adam and Eve. Books 1 begins immediately after the expulsion from the Garden of Eden. We learn about the fall but also of the promise to save Adam and his decendents. The story depicts mans struggle against evil, the devil and sin.


The Second Book of Adam and Eve. Discusses Adam's sorrow and death. The history of the patriarchs who lived before the Flood until the birth of Noah; the children of Seth on Mount Hermon and Cain's death. It ends with the testament and translation of Enoch.


The Infancy of Jesus Christ (Infancy Gospel of Thomas) relates the life of Jesus from the ages of five to twelve. It is believed that the document was transcribed from oral traditions some time prior to the second century. The ancient writing is possibly Gnostic and many early church leaders considered it heretical.
