So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest to the LORD, that he might fulfill the word of the LORD, which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
The king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his place over the army; and Zadok the priest did the king put in the place of Abiathar.
These were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;
and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;
All the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.
They brought up the ark of the LORD, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; even these did the priests and the Levites bring up.
