So David gave to Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place.
David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the couplings; and brass in abundance without weight;
Now, behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the house of the LORD one hundred thousand talents of gold, one million talents of silver, and brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance. I have also prepared timber and stone; and you may add to them.

and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot, [even] the cherubim, that spread out [their wings], and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
Solomon left all the vessels [unweighed], because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred sixty-six talents of gold,
He had a helmet of brass on his head, and he was clad with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.
The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.

A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but accurate weights are his delight.
