David said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don't be afraid, nor be dismayed; for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.
So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
The whole house he overlaid with gold, until all the house was finished: also the whole altar that belonged to the oracle he overlaid with gold.

Now all the work of Solomon was prepared to the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. [So] the house of the LORD was completed.

In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
